Artist's Statement
I love to use bright colors when creating a painting, and acrylics have that pop that reflect the light and bring the viewer’s eye directly to something amazing, unique or different. When I’m painting I am thinking about how I can create something to make the viewer smile or bring a light feeling to their heart. My inspirations are derived from many sources including my imagination, snippets I pull from nature and simply beautiful images from reality married in paint and other mediums. Some of my inspiration are images I derive from walking in the park or driving through the tree-lined streets in the highlands.
